Position Summary:

As a Corporate Legal Counsel, you will join a dynamic legal team responsible for a diverse range of matters, including litigation, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and corporate issues. We are looking for a proactive team player with a positive attitude who can tackle challenges as they arise.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Review and negotiate various contracts, including confidentiality, indemnity, service, software license, SaaS, and supply agreements with minimal supervision.
  • Provide timely legal advice to internal business clients on corporate policies and a wide array of legal matters.
  • Assist business clients in resolving contract-related disputes and other commercial issues.
  • Manage litigation processes, including responding to subpoenas and administrative complaints, while supervising outside counsel.
  • Support basic real estate operations, such as tenant estoppel certificates, SNDAs, correspondence with landlords and tenants, and reviewing easements.
  • Conduct research on regulatory matters as needed.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Work independently while effectively managing your time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Westlaw.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to Massachusetts or another state bar.
  • 5 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Ability to work in-person at corporate headquarters five days a week.
  • Capability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong background in commercial contract review and negotiations.
  • Prior in-house legal experience.
